To: maria.pia.ugarte@voicesonline.org

Dear Voices 2007,

The visionary work of our Artistic Director, Ms. Maria Pia Ugarte, along with the talent of a wonderful cast of musicians, soloists, and choirs, have brought us a breeze of fresh air.

This presentation has shown us, one more time, that creativity and vision can change the way we perceive “music” in the near future. This is where the expression of music is not just a mere entertainment factor, but a visionary idea that brings the notion of a “Show “ to a whole new level, allowing unknown talent the opportunity to shine; making the fantasy world of silent notes become a reality…casting a magic spell on the audience, creating an illusion where time is irrelevant.

For me, it was a very challenging opportunity and a very pleasant experience that I was able to share with my friends and family. Thank you for allowing me to participate.

Congratulations Voices 2007 !!!

Maria Pia,

... I was part of this event (an alto in the chorus) and I really enjoyed very much. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into it.

Hi Pia,

I can only imagine how much time, energy and effort goes into planning an event like that, justifying being fried & exhausted. It was such a beautiful production we look forward to next year’s event! I wish I had one OUNCE of the talent that you have...I was so impressed!!!

...

P.S. What was the song that you and the other two ladies sang right before the intermission when you were sitting in the middle of the stage? It was unbelievable!

I bet ya'll went crazy when the booming started - someone said it was from the fireworks in Tyrone - they could have waited another 15 minutes to set those off, couldn't they? I was happy to see that the theater was filled to capacity!

Pia,

I just wanted to write and let you know how much I enjoyed the concert on Saturday. Everyone did such a beautiful job. Your voices were truly united in music that was so meaningful and inspiring. Even though I can’t sing a lick, my heart was united with all of yours!

Thank you so much for being willing to give to Wellspring as well. I am continually amazed at your willingness to give of yourself and your self-motivation to make a real difference in the community! It is truly admirable. You are a treasure! Please let me know if you need for me to do anything else for you as far as the next steps...

With my most sincere thanks,

Jenn McEwen

Pia,

I had a great time!!

I am out in Tacoma, Washington on a business assignment and won't be able to make it to the Legacy. Sorry about that, but this is how I make a living. You can be sure I will be there in heart on Saturday night. All the comments I heard were "best that has been done," and similar.

"...Voices opened last weekend to a rousing, enthusiastic audience. 'The music presented in this show was nothing short of awesome,' said Ada Hewell. 'I wish there were more performances,' said Angela Papac as she waited in line after Saturday's performance to purchase tickets for the September 15 concert. 'The talent alone would have been enough to make me want to see it again,' said Dave Page, 'but add to that incredible talent, the costumes, the staging, and the variety of music, and you've got a show that's not to be missed.' 'We are SO lucky to have an opportunity like this right here in our own backyard,' added Dave's wife, J.B.'..."

Dear CRHP brothers and sisters,

Our family saw the Voices concert tonight at Holy Trinity and I am happy to tell you it was FABULOUS! It was really amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to see it at Legacy Theater if you missed it!

It would be well worth it - especially to support Wellspring in addition to a great performance!

The program was very sophisticated and at the same time it held the interest of our 4 children for the entire 2-2.5 hours. The content and the mix of styles was brilliant.

I would love for our community to support this endeaver because i definitely want to see it continue!

Thanks to all who performed - your long hours and diligent work paid off!

We were definitely blessed by the performance!

Blessings to you,
Toni & David Hillebrand
